Hello all,

Just purchased my first AR and went with the Crusader after doing plenty of research. I would like to know if anyone can recommend a break-in procedure if there even is one? My goal is to eventually get involved with 3 gun competition so accuracy is pretty important. I didn't buy this rifle just to throw rounds down range, I want to be accurate and consistent. I want this rifle to last as well. I don't want to take my new rifle out and crank a bunch of rounds through it just to find out later that was the wrong thing to do! I know Spikes recommends factory fresh 55 or 62 grain, which is what I've purchased. I've also done my homework and made sure that the ammo I've purchased doesn't contain any steel like that TulAmmo stuff. Any advice would be MUCH appreciated!

Thanks again!
-Dan

I was told by the guys a spike to go ahead and shoot it like it's going out of style lol. It breaks in as you use it.

100% agree Shoot it, Shoot it, Shoot it! Then clean it.
