I'm about to buy a Geissele trigger and I have a choice between small and large pin; which does a Spikes lower take? The large pin dimension is 0.169 inches, whereas the standard pin dimension is 0.155 inches.

Prepare to fall in love (if you're new to them). I have both an SSA and an SSA-E (different applications) but they are worth every penny. And if you're in uncharted waters, they are very easy to install (The You Tube video helped me a lot - I used it both times, actually.

In fact, I'm new to Spikes, but when I saw the "Zombie Receiver," despite the 12 step program, I decided I need to build two more, one for me, one for a gift for my neighbor. Unfortunately, because of the depression economy, not the other kind), I'm going to have to order two more BUT, I'm leaning toward the SSA. I, personally, prefer that model for entry gun type applications. BUT, . . . that's just me?

Sent from my house with a freshly broken hand.

I was trying to choose between the SSA and the SSA-E; I wanted something as crisp as possible so I got the SSA-E. I'm not disappointed at all, if fact, I'm in love. Installing was simple to say the least (I used the video that Bill has). There is no forgiveness with the SSA-E, a twitch when you reach the 2nd stage break and you're putting lead down range, which is exactly what I was looking for. I'm not sure how different the SSA is but I'd like to compare them.

I'm looking to get a Zombie lower receiver for my next build, but last I looked they didn't have the "fire/safe" as an available option.
