I recently read on another forum that Spike's was going to make a 24mm AK Muzzle Brake/Compensator. Can anyone confirm this, any pics? Also, when will this be available and how much $ ?

There is an AK model of the Dynacomp being made. It will be available in the two most common thread pitches found on commercial AK variants.
Still waiting to get them back from the plater right now. They will look like the existing Dynacomps and within the same price range.

It will not have a tapered diameter. I'm not aware of it being different than the current Dynacomp design.

I have an arsenal slr106 chambered in 5.56 with a 24mm muzzle, most 24mm AKs are more commonly found chambered in 5.45, do you know if this 24mm Dynacomp will accommodate the 5.56 caliber?

The bullet hole diameters will still be 5.56 & 7.62. Those with 5.45 can use 5.56 diameter devices without loss of effectiveness.

Any update as to when these will be available? Are they going to be listed with the AR muzzle devices?

Yes, they will be listed under the same Muzzle Device category. They should have already been in by now, but I haveny seen a word on then yet. Tom is a little confused with what could be taking the vendor so long too.

I saw that these have been added to your website, but I am a little confused. The description says 24mmX1.5 left hand thread, to my knowledge all AK's with a 24mm muzzle are right hand thread (I know mine is). To my knowledge the 14mm AK's are the ONLY ones that use a left hand thread. I'm hoping that this is just a type-o. Can you please clarify???

24x1.5LH is used by Arsenal & Saiga on AK74 type rifles. 26x1.5LH is used on Yugo rifles.
24x1.5RH should be on the way next.

Turns out we did receive the 24x1.5RH, not 24x1.5LH. We have updated the website.

sounds good! it doesnt specify caliber, just to clarify this covers all calibers from 5.45 - 7.62?
fyi, i currently own an arsenal and previously owned a saiga, and both were right hand thread.
