Hey, new to the forums but look forward to joining in!! Was just wondering if anyone knows how much longer Spikes is backed up on lowers? I ordered 5 of them on February 10th (7 weeks!) and havn’t heard of anything yet…I know they’re backordered but I’ve got 4 guys riding my butt waiting for their builds….

It is coming along, but at this time there is no firm date on when all backorders will be caught up. Large distributor reorders and LE orders keep coming in. Apparently the distributors can't keep the stuff on their shelves very long either. Not a bad thing, but is definitely creating a wait time for everyone.

Are the backorder estimates given on the website fairly accurate? I.E., 6-8 weeks for this product, 4-6 for that one. I'm asking about complete uppers.

Yes, the estimated waiting time on the website is pretty accurate right now.

I am also interested in the back order estimates on the website. When I placed my order for a complete rifle, I believe the wait showed 3-4 weeks.
Since then, the website format has changed twice and went from 4-6 weeks to 6-8 weeks. I am going on week 6 and was told last week they are waiting a couple weeks for carbine barrels.
I certainly don't mind waiting... based on the expectation set when I placed my order... but it's the pushing out of dates that can start to become frustrating.

It is frustrating for us sales people too. When we give estimates, we are going by what our vendors tell us. We are dependent on our vendors and when they push back getting product to us, it puts us behind too. We have recently added more vendors and are trying to catch up on all the backorders.

My FFL ordered a complete mid-length for me on March 15th and I'm still waiting. The wait time on the website at the time I ordered was 4-6 weeks. About 2 weeks after I ordered the wait time on the website said 6-8 weeks. I tried to find out something about an estimated ship date but since I personally did not order the rifle I could not get an answer.

Right now estimates are no longer being given. We are dedicating all possible personnel and man hours to production. Attempting to track down a specific ticket in any queue would require 1 service agent and 1 armorer to locate. This is costly as it stops a batch of orders from moving along past a stage of assembly.
This is being done to get all orders out the door as fast as possible without any sacrifices to quality of parts or assembly.
