Well it looks like I will be on this waiting list for the next 3 to 5 months.... I just placed my order with Krieger barrel today, and of course the barrel I want is on a 6-8 week back order, then another 3-4 weeks for them to make it (during this time I will be mailing them my Spike upper, BCG, gas block, gas tube and Free float tube) as they are going to Fit and fully assemble everything on the upper, then they will mail it to me. so I get to add on another 3 weeks for assembly, Plus a week for shipping.....

I have a 16" upper with 9" BAR rail on order through my local shop. I know I have a bit of a wait ahead of me, it's nice to see a thread that helps me gauge how long. This is my first AR build.
Tapped on my Bionic running KIN3TX.

Well here I am waiting on zombie lowers, and I did not order one.....went to my local dealer in Dec. To order a stripped lower, I was told that an order was going in that day so we are good to go. Flash forward to md-January and I start calling to check on my lower... I would call about every week and a half- nothing. Finally Friday 2/16/12 I got some answers. Seems my standard lower was stuck with a larger order from the shop including complete zombie and punisher lowers, and also my dealer told me Spikes would not let them order until after the new year! So now in order to get my standard stripped lower I'm waiting on zombies.

Yeah, the wait definitely sucks. I just placed a nice order through them (over $2000) and disappointed it doesn't even come with a decent case.

Just ordered a Punisher Lower and Enhanced LPK. The wait begins. Anyone have the battle trigger. Nickel Boron sounds pretty sweet.

Ordered a basic stock middy a few days back. Hoping that purchasing the base model without any mods or upgrades will keep the wait under 14 weeks so i can take it on my trip.

I was lucky and got my billet lower w/ enhanced LPK right away. got tired of waiting on the billet uppers though and went with a forged upper with 11.5" barrel and 12" BAR, nickel boron coated BCG, troy BUIS, BCM Mod 3 handle and dynacomp extreme and MRS alignment collar. hopefully I dont have to wait to long to get that in. going on 3 weeks now. I also picked up another forged set at the gunshow this weekend for my next build

Still waiting on my punisher lower. Order placed 12/30, got the upper at the end of January which was very nice. Apparently there have been some delays on the punisher lowers. Hoping it ships pretty soon

FNG checking in. I ordered an MOE upper and MOE spider lower through a local dealer near the end of January and was told that delivery would take 4-8 weeks. I'm 5 weeks in and am really looking forward to getting that phone call!
The worst part is that my local dealer can't give me status updates so I am totally in the dark here! I know it will be well worth the wait, though.

Yeah, Spikes makes great products, but their wait time totally sucks. I'm 4 weeks in on a timetable of "4-6" weeks according to Spike's. I will by ordering another AR, but not from Spikes. I won't give up $2000 and have to wait "4-6 weeks." I'm sure I will be more than happy with my 14.5" AR from Spikes, but they aren't the only good maker of AR's. Will be placing an order with Noveske here within the next couple of days.
Please don't misunderstand my post as hating on Spikes, only hating on their unGodly waiting time. Maybe they should stock their shelves a little better with product to keep up with demand. Nevertheless, Spike's makes awesome stuff, just not going to wait this long again.
