I don't think the wait is the problem for most people, it's the fact that their estimate to receive their rifle keeps getting extended, longer, and longer. I do agree with you on one point.... I wouldn't own a Red Jacket if you gave it to me.

I officially cancelled my lower receiver order. After being told it would be until the end of summer to get a lower receiver, I just couldn't logically wait. I ended up finding a spikes calico lower, a spikes buffer assembly, spikes nickel boron trigger group, and just bought a few other things to complete the lower. So my AR will be done in the next week rather than 4 months from now...

So my AR will be done in the next week rather than 4 months from now... what kind of lower were you told 4 months? im waiting on a enhanced (spiderlower) complete rifle .nboron ctr rest is mostly standard stuff ?? i asked recently(couple days ago) after 10 week wait if it would be longer than 16 weeks all together and they just said waiting on suppliers. they told you 4 months but why?? i live just down the road from core 15 but ordered from spikes 80 miles away that i drove too to order hoping for bettter qaulity and service. im patient but when i ordered i figured 2 weeks to 4 weeks -they said 6-8 maybe shorter maybe longer due to tax time buyers. if i count that 4 months your talking that would be over 6 months for me .well thats just driving me crazy man just thinking of that . and now i just dont know what to do especially after hearing of mistakes and more supply/supplier problems. someone tell me it it worth it please?????????

i saw and understand all the suppressor orders and/or color /engraving/ special punisher and calico lowers that are not the normal logo / color engravings slowing the building process down on orders but a spikes spider lower is a (standard part and engraving enhanced or not ). 4 months extra for standard non custom mil spec parts?? were not talking 500 small parts for a 1911 with fancy artwork

Maybe I just got lucky, but after poking around on the internet I was able to have my Spikes rifle ordered and in my hands in under a week. In case you wondered, I got Spikes enhanced lower, Magpul ACS stock, Troy folding sights, Troy battle mags from JoeBob Outfitters and my 16" mid w/12"bar from Delta Three Tactical. The gentleman at D3T said he only had the Spike upper because someone decided on the Noveske instead. Here's a quick little video of the g/f laying out 20rounds of 5.56 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T5YOTJFzOac

Anyone know the expected wait time on a stripped lower? No color fill not a zombie or punisher just a plain ole spider lower. It's been a little over 3 weeks now and I'm expecting to get it anytime soon but don't want another 3-5 months either.

only reason i got mine after 9 weeks is because i got zero bells and whistles ....i chose to buy all the extras i wanted during my wait and install myself...and i read that parts are put to complete STOCK rifles quicker then custom ...and im guessing i got a little bit lucky too...but i have seen a feww others that did the same as i and recieved there stuff in same time frame
