So my AR will be done in the next week rather than 4 months from now... what kind of lower were you told 4 months? im waiting on a enhanced (spiderlower) complete rifle .nboron ctr rest is mostly standard stuff ?? i asked recently(couple days ago) after 10 week wait if it would be longer than 16 weeks all together and they just said waiting on suppliers. they told you 4 months but why?? i live just down the road from core 15 but ordered from spikes 80 miles away that i drove too to order hoping for bettter qaulity and service. im patient but when i ordered i figured 2 weeks to 4 weeks -they said 6-8 maybe shorter maybe longer due to tax time buyers. if i count that 4 months your talking that would be over 6 months for me .well thats just driving me crazy man just thinking of that . and now i just dont know what to do especially after hearing of mistakes and more supply/supplier problems. someone tell me it it worth it please????????? I ordered a Calico Jack lower with Enhanced kit without stock. I was told nothing at the start of my order on 3/22. I was fine waiting a couple months, later on I added a melonited gas tube. After hearing about all the hold ups and such, I cancelled my gas tube order because I figured it would slow down my order. I was told that I would be waiting 4-5 months for my Calico Jack lower on its own because it isn't the standard Spider. I was told that the Spider had a 90 day wait period. You may have 3 months or less if you have a Spider lower. But I wasn't cool waiting that long. I already built my upper. So, I found a stripped Calico online and found most the Spikes parts I wanted on the lower and will be assembling the rest with a CMMG LPK I picked up at my local gun shop. My brother also cancelled his entire Spikes order and purchased a BCM upper and a Spikes stripped lower along with a Spikes sandard LPK. So my rifle will be done next week instead of 4 months. The only sacrifice I made was no ambi safety, no KNS, and a magpul trigger guard. I'm still stoked....

NJC wrote: Anyone know the expected wait time on a stripped lower? No color fill not a zombie or punisher just a plain ole spider lower. It's been a little over 3 weeks now and I'm expecting to get it anytime soon but don't want another 3-5 months either. I ordered a stripped spider lower with fire/safe markings on march 1st...received a call on march 23rd that if i wanted to change to the same lower but with the bullet pictograms because they had got in a few of them...i agreed without hesitation and my ffl received the lower the following thursday...not sure if this will be the same or not...i was told that the stripped spider lowers with no color fill get processed more quickly...

Secondly I would expect the wait for one of their firearms to be long due to the amount of free advertising they get with the show being on cable. Obviously those who aren't into the AR's or fans will probably place orders for their firearms.. Sent from my Commodore 64.. READY. load"*",8,1

Guys that are waiting on orders and are inpatient word of advice. Call spikes ask them what's the hold up, they'll tell you what parts there waiting on. If its lowers our something of that nature, ask what they have in stock. If its just a regular spider lower, and if your willing to change your order to that, and you want the rifle badly then work with them. Trust me if your want it fast and are willing to comprise. Work with them. You'll get it faster.

Figured I would get my upper from Joe bobs surplus when they came in. Checked my email before I went to work and no email. When I got back from work had a email that they had spikes uppers in stock, so I went to order one they were all sold out in 4 hours. Jeeze
