Because 23 weeks puts you at when I ordered mine. 16" LE upper with 9" BAR Rifle Lower with enhanced LPK, black magpul furniture, and FIRE/SAFE color fill. Now that I see the pics, I wish I would have gone with the 10" BAR Did you order straight from Spikes or from a dealer?

I hope that was just the standard answer and it gets here a lot sooner. But it still just says issued so I'm not holding my breath!

I'd say they have about 2 weeks to get this thing to me before I go buy a Daniel Defense. I ordered through a dealer on November 17. Only way I got my rifle was by getting my local gun shop to put pressure on the dealer to put pressure on Spikes. Technically I still haven't received the upper I ordered since the one I received had the wrong rail installed. But after waiting 21 weeks I will take what I received and take the rest of my business elsewhere. I was about to do what you said, buy a DD or a Noveskie. My advice is to not deal with Spikes. Not because of product quality, but because of customer service and treating their customers who purchase their products through their dealers as second class citizens.

I'm giving them 12 weeks, but if I don't have something concrete, I'm going to cancel the order and just scour the Internet for one..
At this point, 3 months wait for a stripped lower is ridiculous since I'm not waiting on bolts, battle triggers or anything else they seem to be in short supply on..

from jax chris on order questions post: ---(Anything left from Feb is likely just waiting on us getting these couple of key items from our vendor. Sadly, I cannot give an estimate because there would be no guarantee behind it.)

How long does it take for Spikes to refund money? I was quoted 8-10 weeks for a basic complete and I'm at week 6. If it goes longer I'll cancel.

i canceled. For what i plan on doin with the rifle, ive heard great things about Palmetto State Armory. it took 4 days for my account to be re-credited from spikes, then i got a middy 1/7 twist barrel (made by fn) and their complete lower. Im guessing the wait will be roughly three weeks for them to process the order, put the stuff together, and have it in my hand. everything was in stock. No offense to spikes and ill be back some day, but i have summer plans based on the AR. And palmetto being nearly the same specs as spikes and for a little less, i was ok with that.

I feel for a lot of the guys here who are waiting. I've got to believe Spikes monitors this thread.
