Yesterday marked my 10 week wait on a stripped spider lower and still have no idea when it will be in. Should I cancel and try to find one somewhere else or will the wait from them be longer than just waiting for my Spikes lower?

I know theres alot of stripped lowers right now on Gunbroker. Probably be faster. Just a thought.

I'm on 8 weeks on a complete rifle, just called them and got stretched to 6 months wait. I was told they are waiting on lowers. I'm not complaining, just passing information for our support group.

Congrats to those who got their rifles. Post those pics for us to drool at. Hahahaha.

For those of us waiting, hang in there. And thanks to those people suggesting how to get a rifle done faster.

I'm going on 10 months for a stripped upper and lower billet. Those that are getting their parts after 3-4 months, you're lucky.

I think that if my lower isn't ready by the time the next gun show rolls around, I'm gonna just buy one there and cancel my order. I can probably pull off the painting myself. I really wanna get this lower together.

Trust me when I say this-its SOOOOOO easy to colorfill the lower yourself! I spent about $8 at a hobby store for testors white, and red model paint, plus thinner. Did as good a job as anyone, and for $17 cheaper than they charge you-PLUS you have the satisfaction of doing it yourself. I was in your boat about a month or so back, saw one on two seperate sites and decided to jump. You literally have only moments to decide as they will sell out within the hour! Now I have an extra if the mood strikes me, and dont have to wait! Good luck whichever way you go, you wont be disappointed with Spikes products...

I ordered a complete upper receiver with a 10" BAR rail (no modifications) on March 1. I sent an email Friday of last week asking for any kind of word on my upper and was told that it was definitely shipping in the next couple of weeks. I got the email today that it shipped and I'll be receiving it on Tuesday, so my total wait is 3 months and a week. While not exactly fast, I'll say that the wait was reasonable given the large number of orders that Spike's (and all manufacturers for that matter) are going through. I work at a gun shop (in Texas) and I am friends with a lot of gun shop owners and it's looking like a lot of the stripped uppers, NiB BCGs, and barrels are starting to trickle in to shops, so look around if you simply can't wait (plus it helps out us dealers!). For those who are waiting, stick with it! The really long delay seem to be coming from people who asked for multiple customizations to their rifles, so if you're ordering a standard upper or lower or parts, just hang in there! Also, for those seeking color filled lowers and are passing up non-colored lowers, just buy the non-color filled one. Doing a color fill job is VERY simple with all of the guides that can be found all over the internet and YouTube. Don't prolong your wait for something that can be done yourself for a few dollars and 15 minutes of your time.

Ordered a Spike's 16" mid-length rifle on 3/8 and I picked it up on 6/4. Just over 12 weeks. Sweet rifle!

Ordered mine on 3/14. Emailed customer service last week and they said it will be another 2 to 3 months due to not being able to get lowers from their vendors. Must have been a boat load of orders between 3/8 and 3/14 for that kind of change in the wait time.

Just picked up my rifle from my LGS. I ordered a complete rifle during the second week of February...with some adjustments. I originally ordered the ST-15 16Mid-Length LE Carbine...adding the Enhanced LPK, NiB BCG, and FN CHF 16" barrel. Then later that week I just had to add the 13.2" S.A.R., MagPul BUIS, BCM GunFighter Mod4 Charging Handle and the Dynacomp Extreme...basically changing the base rifle to the ST-15 16Mid-Length LE w/13.2" S.A.R. and adding all the other "goodies." Spent an hour at the shop today looking everything over and installing a Millet DMS-1 in a Burris A-P.E.P.R., a MagPul STR stock, A.S.A.P. sling mount and AFG1. She's SaWeet!!! 17 weeks from complete order to delivery. I'll put up some pics later. I'm telling y'all, it's well worth the wait.

I ordered a ST-15 16" Mid-Length LE w/ 9" BAR on 3/13, no color or add ons. Emailed customer service and heard back today that I'm looking at 1 to 2 more months.

I ordered a mid-length on the 2nd of March. Sent an email a week ago asking for any status they could give me and I have not heard a word back. Is this fairly normal?

Yes. Been waiting since the end of January and have no idea where I stand. Acceptance of the long wait is all that will keep you sane.

Man I really feel for you guys. Way more patience then I could ever have. Me and my buddy have built 8 Spikes AR's in way less time then most of you have been waiting on 1. And all of them have been built for way under retail. I heard through the grapevine that if you ordered a complete rifle now through Spikes or your local FFL, that you would be lucky to see it this year. Thats just ridiculous.
