Here is one of my zombie submissions. Here is a little back story to it as well.

A zombie is coming towards you; it’s kill or be killed. Will you show this zombie no mercy? That was what I was trying to go for with this zombie logo. I believe this will fit perfectly with the lower receiver product because it’s has a story, it has clean lines that will engrave nicely, and the colors look great with it (keep in mind that I used the same color schemes but incorporated green to give it more of zombie look at first glance). I could only imagine what it would actually look like on the lower receiver.
I at first didn’t want to incorporate the cross hairs but later decided that it would make sense in the end. So, I added them but made the zombie the main focus because after all it is a zombie logo on a nicely made receiver. I believe this zombie logo will sell because not only is it uniquely done like your lower receivers, I think it fits perfectly with the concept of what you might be looking for. Your customers will enjoy having this lower receiver in their collection in addition to all the other products they might have with spike tactical.

I'm just curious though even though that zombie hand is an istock photo would it still count as your work? I know u reworked the line work but I was just curious.

I wouldn't think it would be any different than people using stock photo shop font or basic shapes like circles to make cross hairs or the people using the biohazard or spider .
I would say very little of graphic design is completely original, its tweaked twisted copied pasted layered reversed re sized shaded and smudged until its an original Did I just miss the bus?

This is a (hopefully) mill friendly design done with Illustrator. I don't know about the text, or what font the mill is able to do. Also, do you know what the mill is able to accomplish in terms of line weight?
