Well I finally got my new upper and when i pulled it out of the box i noticed this area with white spots on it. Is there anything that will take them off or are these spots that didn't get anodized?

Do you have some cheap brake cleaner laying around (preferably Walmart blue label)? Rub that on to see if anything comes off. If it doesn't, it may have been an anodizing error. Hard to tell from the glare. If it is an error, you can call us for an RMA on the rail body to have it replaced.
Either way it turns out, sorry it didn't arrive as expected.

I did try some alcohol and it didn't work so I'll go take a look to see if i have any brake cleaner. I know its only a cosmetic issue and not in the most noticeable of spots. I waited 3 months for the upper I would hate to have to send it back for who knows how much longer for just a cosmetic issue lol.

Give us a call. You'd only have to send the rail body in. Tech support will talk you through removal (let them know it is a SAR v2) and will get you a replacement tube sent back out.
