I've just received a Spikes Billet Free Float Handguard with picatinni rails which will replace the factory original from my brand new 5.56 Spikes Tactital M4. How do I disassemble the original handguards from my rifle? There were no instructions included in the package and I have no manuals for my Spikes Tactital 5.56 M4.

That is only for taking off handguards, not dissembling the entire upper (which is what the user will need to do to switch from M4 handguards to a rail system.

There are a number of tools you will need to swap a handguard for a rail system.

good catch on that Chris, in my hastiness to troll, it didn't occur to me that he would need to disassemble; I got focused on the question posed of how to remove the m4 handguards.
