When are both the Compressor and Vanguard finally going to be ready to start shipping to FFLs? I ordered both of mine a long time ago, and am really wanting to know for both of them. Thank you.

Any updates on the Compressor, and especially the Vanguard?

I am not sure what is holding the Vanguard. The Compressor is awaiting its new mono-style upper, the heatshield and new rail are already done. The uppers should be about 3 weeks.

Thanks for the fast reply. Sounds great on the Compressor! For the Vanguard, is there anyway you can find out what is holding it up? I thought they were pretty much done months ago. Thanks a lot

I do not work in the shop. Calling the sales rep would be best for getting that answer.

What was the original Ops Can used on the gun before you made your own? M4S or M4M? Thanks!

A model we commissioned. It had thicker baffled and end cap. We requested this because when we tested the M4S on sustained SBR full auto, it would mushroom.

Nw that they are finally approaching completion, I was wondering, what is the recommended ammo for this gun since it has such a short barrel? I want to go ahead and buy a couple thousands rounds of the stuff to get ready for when I have the gun.

Not really any limitations on what it will eat. Same as any M4 style carbine. You can fire from 55gr to 75gr without issue.
If you want maximum effect from any suppressor, use commercial .223 ammo. The hotter charge in 5.56 is louder and makes more flash than .223 ammo.
Start with PMC Bronze as a base that is cheap in bulk. If you want to be spendy, go with Hornady or SSA. Federal, Winchester, & Remington are overpriced bottom barrel rounds with a big brand name on them.
And to be honest, most of my weapons get fed a diet mostly comprised of Wolf ammo -- because it goes bang and not kaboom. My nicer weapons that I want to pamper get PMC. EDC is full of LE Gold Dots, used to be Federal HST2. It isn't pricey carry ammo, but it is proven overall most effective in multiple FBI testing sessions.

Thanks. Yea I have over 10,000 rounds of 55 grain Remington FMJ and HPs. Cheap, but decent and good ammo. Since I have so much of it, it will be used in this gun For actually wow factor suppression I do have I believe around 1000 of reloaded subsonics, and I'll try a few in the Compressor.
Since the Compressor is not an extremely quite gun like some suppressed guns, I plan on running standard supersonics in it most of the time, and was just curious about what would be a decent priced bullet with punch in HP or FMJ.
I'm thinking I might try out the Prvi 75grain hollow points. At around $0.40 a round, that isn't bad for a heavy good quality hollow point.

Heavier is slower. The PPU 75gr should work well. It isn't loaded hot and the weight will keep the velocity down as well. Inside 25 yards it will be crazy quite. Going to 50 yards is when you might here the bullets crack.

In testing, which Compressor in quieter? The 300AAC, or the 5.56 one? I might actually go ahead and order the 300AAC one as well. Just tossing ideas around right now though.

Not quite yet. If you want to give your prior sales rep a call, you can ask them to email you as soon as they are available for sale.
Edit: Actually, you might be able to pre-order now, still have to check with your sales rep though.
