Howdifficult is it to actually build an Ar yourself if you had all the parts

I am debating on letting someone else put mine together or doing it myself.

Not too difficult if you have the right tools.. I put together the entire lower myself with a few a punches, needle nose pliers, plastic and metal hammer, and a stock wrench..

Sent from my Commodore 64..

If you were good with lego sets as a kid.... You can build a complete lower... All you need is a bench vise and some basic rollpin punches and watch lots of Youtube vids on it and print off the instructions-parts list-function check off AR15.com. I recommended buying "complete uppers" from Spikes direct or from a distributor online or from gunbroker.com. I would not recommend a newbie assemble the upper due to barrel specs, headspace, etc. I can do a complete lower in about an hour now taking my time......

And a stock wrench as noted above for castle nut. Rock River Arms makes a good one avail from Joeboboutfitters.com

+1
Lower assembly is super easy. Then order your upper for your first AR so you can examine it closely. Companies (Spikes) offer a warrantee on it too.
