Just want to say thanks in advance for any and all help, this is my first AR so I am new to this. That being said I am having feeding issues with my Spikes AR. I put in a mag, pull back on the charging handle and the round attempts to load but the tip gets hung up on the feed ramps. Happens on both right and left.

Almost every thing on this rifle is from Spikes with the exception being the LPK. The upper was bought pre-assembled from Spikes/AIM

I'm using a P-Mag loaded with Federal if that makes any difference.

Call us up to speak with Tech Support. They will troubleshoot the issue with you, and if needed, issue an RMA. Sorry for the inconvenience.

When you say you pull back on the charging handle, are you still holding it when it is going forward?

If you lock the bolt back, then trip the catch, does it load?

Polish the feed ramps 1500+ grit. Unless there's an obvious lip that the rounds get hung up on. Might save you the time shipping it back and forth to Spikes.
