Pic request! 16" with Viking 4M or 5M?? I just purchased my Spike lower today. The last Zombie blem in the building. Can't wait to pick it up. Since its a first, I took a blem knowing its my first build and with everyone...."the first time is alway a little messy" lol This will be my first AR build and really trying to grasp all the lingo and more so, what the lingo links to as far as looks. I like a more streamlined rifle. Not a short barrel, I like to stretch its legs a bit at the range. Not too long, I might want to do 3-gun or something fun also. I like 5.56....but 300 Blackout REALLY intrigues me for some reason. I used to spend hours and hours helping a friend reload 223, we called it "Mouse Poop" and I never really enjoyed shooting it. I was more into his dads M1A. Maybe thats why; no idea. For a handguard Its a tossup between a Viking JPHG or a simple vented aluminum tube. No front sights, just a single piece optic or a simple scope for me. Mini gas block that I would like to be partially or fully covered by the hand guard/tube but yet a nice amount of barrel still showing out the end, not 2-3" worth. Any suggestions? Sorry, this is a picture thread but I dont know where else to ask for pics. BTW, my first dealings with Spikes today was 100%. I just urge the guys there.....with all the backorder. PLEASE, do NOT cut on quality to get parts out. Do us all proud, make us wait forver and in the end, deliver a 100% product. We might hate and cuss you at night in the short term but in the end we will "love you long time"
