I bought a Midlength Spike's St-22 approximately 2 years ago. I now have about 2,500 rounds through it with no major problems. During my last range trip I pulled back on the charging handle and heard a small clinking sound inside the upper reciever. Upon seperating the upper from the lower I noticed half of the firing pin fall to the ground. The firing pin had snapped in half with the roll pin still holding the other half inside the bolt. I figured I would just go to the website and order a few more only to find Spike's is no longer selling St-22 bolt parts. Can I find one elswhere or do I now have a very expensive paper weight?
I have been very happy with this dedicated upper since I picked it up at Spike's and would really like to get it running again!
