Is the Billet Lower Reciever really worth it? I'm looking to buy either the Billet Biohazrd Lower w/ Ehanced Kit- M4 ($570.00) or the Punisher Lower w/ Enhanced Kit- M4 ($355.00) My question is to all the people who have had both Billet and non-billet recievers...Is the extra $215 really worth it?? What are the pros and cons?? Thanks ahead of time! Much appreciated!

I am still building mine, and I have only experience with other peoples ar's but I thought I would comment anyway.
I got the billet specifically because I am shooting left handed and it has the ambi bolt release. So I am defiantly sold on it. Its other features like captured pins are not something that matter much to me but its a great idea and I wouldn't be surprised if other people try and copy it. The adjustable upper/lower tension and adjustable trigger reset(if that's what its called) seem cool to me because I like to tune stuff and i am very picky about fit even though the tension is not a big deal or a big affect on accuracy if any.
Basically I wanted the best and I do believe I got it. I would still be totally happy with the standard lower.

I just got the billet lower for my carbine and I love it. I also have a bushmaster with a regular lower. I would spring for the billet, it really is worth the money.

Thanks guys, I've recently been reading that the billet lower is more useful, as far as accuracy is concerned, on a long distance AR with bull barrels...I still might prefer the lighter metal and the sexy look of the billet, even though i don't plan on building a long distance AR.

How about the weight? I am considering the exact same thing but really want to gun to be as light as possible. I am left handed but don't really care about all technical stuff mentioned.

I believe the metal used is 1075 Alluminum grade 3 something like that...hope that helps.
