Anybody know what the best way is to get ahold of the fine folks at Ballistic Advantage? I'm trying to build a Spikes M4 chambered in 6.5BPC and Spikes seems to recommend this group. I actually had a couple of e-mails back and forth with Adam about what he could do but when it came to me sending the final e-mail about what I want to order, I got no response. No response on follow-up e-mail either. Left a voice message and no response there either. Tried back a week later and Adam's voice mail is maxed out. Can't leave anymore messages, not that I think it would do me any good. Their website is still up. Is this company still in business? I thought maybe they were busy at Shot Show but they weren't listed in the list of participating vendors. I'd love to get this barrel going if they are up for it but I'm beginning to feel like a stalker here. Never had to work so hard to give somebody my money. Any advice is appreciated. They do look like they make a top notch product for a great price and Spikes Tactical recommendation is as good as gold to me.

Is this type of thing common with them then? Has anybody here succesfully ordered a custom barrel from Ballistic Advantage? What was your experience? Would anybody hazard a guess as to when I'll hear back? Or will I ever hear back about my initial order request? Should I just keep e-mailing them my order? I can be the most persistant SOB you ever saw if anybody thinks it'll do me any good. Sorry bout all the questions. The only reason I care so much is because I honestly have never found another company that could do everything I want for this barrel under one roof let alone for the outstanding price. Seems like they have a lot of potential.

I'll pass this along to Adam. I know he was at SHOT for a week so I'm sure he is way behind and very busy.

Hey, thanks Mr. Miller! Glad to hear he was at Shot Show and that a US company is doing well and staying busy! I certainly don't mind being patient for a great product.

Vne,
I appreciate your patience and persistence. SHOT was a very valuable time but now we are indeed slammed catching up on all fronts. We are training a new secretary now (our last one had to take maternity leave) so she'll be taking over on the phones and soon the emails too. I'll be sure to get to your email this evening. We look forward to and appreciate your business!

Not a problem! Just glad to hear you guys are doing well. Busy is good. I'm very much looking forward to talking with you once you're caught up. And thanks for being so understanding of my persistence! For what you're able to offer, you have become the fish I WON'T let get away. Take care now!

Ballistic Advantage Update... So right after my last post on this thread, on or around Feb 2nd, I get a friendly phone call from Adam at Ballistic Advantage. We had a talk about what it is I would like to have built, he confirms he has the proper blanks in stock and so he verbally confirms my order. He says it'll take a couple weeks to mill the barrel and that he has a shipment of barrels being sent out for meloniting and that he would get my barrel in that batch. Then he'd permanently mount my comp and gas block on it for me. He says the whole thing should be done about the middle of March and he'll call me then for payment. So I send him my Vltor low profile gas block and Battle Arms BABC compensator. About (guessing here) 3 weeks later it dawns on me that he'll need my ST SAR barrel nut before he mounts the gas block. Adam confirms it's not too late to send in the barrel nut so I send that to him as well. He confirms that he received my parts. Since then... nothing. No returned e-mails, no returned calls. I decided to leave it all alone for a couple months as I know these guys are super busy making a great product for the people that need them most over seas. And I know they have a reputation for a great product at a great value. Since then I've distracted myself by building a whole other rifle. But I sure would like that barrel project finished up so I can complete the original rifle. I tried calling today and his voice mail box is full so you can't leave a message. Guess they still don't have a secretary. I know a secretarial position should be an easy one to fill these days so I really can't imagine why they don't have one at least just for taking calls and reading e-mails. Their website is still up and holds itself out to the general public as a custom barrel maker with full shop services. So what's going on over there? I don't want to give up on this thing but it stinks waiting indefinately with zero communication. I sure as heck don't want to lose my parts. Those things aren't cheap. So as my second to last idea, I thought I would post here because it was my addiction for Spikes products and Spikes recommendation of Ballistic Advantage that first lead me to them to begin with. And the last time I posted here I did get a response from B.A.llc. My last idea is to leave B.A.llc daily e-mails and daily voice messages until I get a response. I can be the most persistant SOB you've ever heard of. I'm gettin ready to be that guy. Nearly 3 months non-com is long enough. Anybody else have any ideas?

Adam, I'm not sure if you're receiving my PM's from this forum so I'll post my response to your PM here.
"Absolutely not, Adam. I insist on paying and I certainly don't mind waiting for the meloniting. I would prefer the melonited surface, in fact. And you do have an excuse, I know your cranking out barrels as fast as you can for guys who's lives may depend on them. Sorry if it sounded like I was comin' down on you. Thanks for the response. Call me when it's done, I'm ready to pay. Thanks again, Adam."

I'm in the same boat, waiting since November. They have got the parts for a complete upper less barrel and BCG from me. I hope this works out.
Icing is I got a call in March saying it should only be another week and they would call for payment, haven't heard anything since despite multiple emails and messages.

Similary, I have been contacting them regarding 17 caliber upper with no response for two months. While it is frustrating my life isn't depending on it so I continue to wait.

They make barrels, well turn them from blanks. I was having them build me a complete upper with one of their barrels.
