Yay, my upper has shipped!! Crap, I can't get home to accept it!
Does Spikes have the ability to have UPS hold at location prior to the initial delivery? I have roofers doing work at my house right now, and would hate for one of them to sign for it, and then have the package disappear...
Thanks!!

Once an item has shipped with UPS, it must make an initial attempt before they will allow the receiver to request the item be held at the destination depot/hub. I have tried this many times before it made a first try and they keep rejecting me.

Lol. Worth a try though, right Chris?
I had UPS put a note on my account not deliver without ID, so that no one walked away with it, apparently they act quick as my Wife's shipment yesterday got a delivery attempt notice instead of a drop off. I haven't told her why yet, lol. I suppose I'll get hers when I pick mine up.

I have UPS and FedEx do the same thing. They still make the first attempt and leave the notice, but they don't just drop and run anymore. FedEx and UPS and both within 2 miles of work and I live 3 miles from work. So neither place is much of a chore.

Unfortunately, my hub is not convenient at all (30 minute drive without traffic). May try to work from home tomorrow

How old do you have to be to sign for the package, Im deployed and the one who was initially going to sign got deployed a few weeks ago as well. In SD you have to be 21 to buy a handgun but 18 I think for a rifle, so does the signer have to be at least 18 for an upper. Package will be delievered Tues, I just dont want my upper head back to Spikes due to no one being able to sign for it.
