I was thinking about the what you mentioned earlier about having the upper receiver shipped to ADCO and i was thinking; is it is possible to have the upper receiver shipped to one of your authorized vendors other than ADCO (thinking about AIM) and they could pin the compensator of my choice?

You would have to ask AIM if they offer that service. If they agree to it Spike's will ship it there.

What color does ST use to fill in their logo, example like the charging handle and the SAR/BAR system? Also is that particular color available to be used to fill in other areas on the AR?

The billet charging handle isn't color filled. The BAR/SAR rails have the logo laser engraved on them just like the upper receivers do. They come out white to off-white in color.

Only color fill done is the markings on the lower receivers. The colors available for the logo and selector markings are:
- White
- Red
- Tan
- Black

I haven't been able to find any pictures with the tan color fill, do you by any chance have any?

I'll see if I can dig up someone. Can't promise a fast turn around on that though.

Okay next question, can you put a billet upper on a standard (non-billet) lower?

Yes, you can; you can also use a forged upper on a billet lower, assuming that the receivers adhere to the same specifications (milspec being the norm). If either is not built to milspec, it may not fit correctly with the other, but if we are talking about spikes uppers and lowers, I don't think you'll have any problem. Most people tend to match a set of receivers based on how they aesthetically look together; a billet upper usually looks better with a billet lower that matches its lines, and vice-versa.

i know your right about matching and aesthetics . Im asking because i want to build a billet AR but im an impatient person at times so i figured if i can order the billet upper with the barrel i want i can add it on the lower i got just for the time being till i get the billet lower ordered, its all about the cash flow. One thing at a time.

Money is tight because i own a Jeep and both hobbies are very expensive, so i just have to split my money between modifying my Jeep and building my new AR.

I very much understand what you are saying about patience (I will try to find a link to my post on ARFCOM about that), but when it comes to the receivers, and especially with cash flow considerations, I would suggest you buy once, cry once. Just my .02 and take it as you will.

Yes, the billet receivers are designed to mix and match with forged receivers. In fact, a billet upper on a forged lower looks pretty nice.
