I started to calcuate all the ad-ons in addtion to my AR itself. I didn't realize how much I have put into my rifle over the last 4 months. Excluding the ammo I have sent down range, I figured I've dropped about $2300. How does everyone else compare? I am going to guess I would be mid-high on the $ chart.

Anyone care to share?

Still waiting on my upper but including shipping I'll be at roughly around $1100. Which is exactly the price of the CMMG pistol I wanted that got me to do a pistol build to begin with. Except the Spike's build will have a Magpul grip, hand guards, and trigger guard. I'll have a vortex flash hider, and extras like the ASAP and MS2 sling. But that price will jump later when I buy optics.

That's some nice stuff for $1100. Yea optics are expensive. I bought an EOtech XPS2 and paid around $470 for it. I was debating on purchasing the real deal or a clone. I bought the real deal and glad I did. My sling came undone (mapgul sling too???) and my rifile fell straight to the pavement hitting the top of my optic.

I am pretty sure had I purchased a clone, it would have broke the internals of the optic. So now I have a nice chunk in the hood of my optic. If I really wanted to I could order a new hood from Brownells for ~$50, but probably won't. Adds character to the gun.

WOW! How does that PVS work? I always wondered if it is really like the stuff you see in the movies. What type of suppressor did you get?

The PVS is awesome! I've only had it for a week and i havent had time to test it out on any pigs, but it looks really good when i look around the backyard. I dont think it is the same as the movies, i think they just put a green cover over their camera lens. The suppresor was made by a company in Rockwall, TX called Ident Marking, i also purchased my pvs 14 from them.

I think we're in dangerous territory here. All's it take's is for some wife's to see this thread, and there will be all these nice part's up for sale to pay for the divorce.

So far I'm at about $2000 and still have about $300-$400 to go to finish her off.
