finally starting on my first build, i just bought a JD machine tech lower, doublestar LPK, spike's tactical buffer assembly and a magpul ctr stock, thanks to CA being the wonderful state that it is, i have a 10 day wait on my lower, guess it not that big of deal cause i wont be able to finish the lower till my buffer tube comes in hopefully next week. and in about 2 weeks i'll be getting my tax return and will be purchasing my spike's tactical complete upper. and i know every single day that goes by waiting for that upper to ship is gonna kill me!! but i've heard its worth the wait!

Welcome to the club, I just ordered my upper for my first AR. I'm only 2 days into the wait, but I'm just trying to forget about it so that it'll be a nice surprise when it shows up haha.

I ordered my midlength M4 LE with a 12" SAR on Monday and it's killing me! Its gonna be my first AR and I have the lower built, and just waiting on it's better half. Lol. I think I'm gonna try to pass time by buying little things that I'm missing like sights, rail covers, and foregrip..

Hang in there guys. Spike's has great customer service, and their stuff is running a little bit behind because of the massive amount of orders, but it will show up. Trust me, you'll realize the wait is part of the price for high quality and something really nice. That's how I felt, I wasn't mad about an extra couple weeks or anything and I'm probably the most impatient person on the planet.

Both the BAR and SAR rail systems, whether ordered individually or as part of an upper or rifle, include (3) 7" black low profile "ladder style" rail covers. Though many feel they aren't needed due to the scalloping performed on the rail segments.
