was wondering the break in procedure for your 16" le barrel? read all kinds of different ideas on the internet like no break in or a one shot clean two shot clean ......etc method.everyone has a different answer and i just want to know your take on the subject to keep me warranty.

Just clean and lube the rifle when you first get it and then go shoot it.

Yep. Clean, lube, shoot. Then make sure to clean and lube after each range trip, regardless if you shoot 10 rounds or 1000 rounds.

ok i was just wondering because of all this crud about clean shoot clean shoot that is on the internet...id spend a whole day "breaking in the barrel" and only get in about 150 rounds.sounds like a big freakin waste of time to me.especially if im gonna run the thing full throttle.

Those types of break in schedules are good for precision rifles and space guns, but for a working carbine it isn't needed (at least better not be). What's the point of buying an AR if they want you to baby it, right? =)
Only time I would suggest such a break in for a Spike's rifle is if you bought a custom rifle from us that you meant as a precision, ranged weapon. This would be something like a high end 18" Lothar barrled SPR that you wanted to compete with. But for anything you plan to take to the range, classes, carbine club events, etc it is purely clean, lube, shoot the piss out of it, and clean at the end of the day.
I do advise never storing any weapon dirty. That will lead to maintenance/shooting issues and decrease the life of a weapon.
