Hello everybody:
I recently purchased an ST-15 M4 LE carbine here in South Florida and i absolutely love it. I was very impressed with the quality and attention to detail on all the components especially for the pricepoint. I have put a few hundred rounds thru it so far and it has functioned flawlessly and is extremely accurate. With that being said, there is just one minor detail that kinda bothers me. The finish on the buffer tube is different than the rest of the rifle. It has a flat gray finish that can be seen when the butstock is extended. I know this is not a big deal since its just estetical but i would like to know if this is normal. Hopefully you can tell from the photo. Are all the buffer tubes like this on all spikes tactical rifles??? If i were to try to refinish it, what would you guys recommend. would flat black Krylon be good enough???. thanks.
