New here.... I've been checking the site out for a week or so now. Ive been into handguns for 20 years now and just bought a ST15 today in like very new condition. Look forward to learning more about these on here. Feel free to tell me what I have bought here since Im still learning. Cant wait until the weekend to fire some rounds off. Plus the gun show is here this weekend!

Pretty nice rig. Looks like either an early production, or someones kit build. Jax would be able to tell you more based on the serial number.

Already replied to your PM before I saw the thread here.

Sad to say, that upper was not built by us. ST has not used a quad rail gas block before. Can you get a picture of the barrel markings, top of the upper receiver, and the right side of the bolt carrier? Maybe we can determine everything else you have in that rifle.

Got the serial number you just sent. The CAK series lowers were all sold as stripped lowers, mostly through AIM, I'm 99% sure.

Will double check with the office via email.

Ok, found it. It's a Red X Arms barrel.

Huh. Never seen that barrel marking before. Not sure who it belongs to.

If the person sold this to you as a Spike's rifle, they were not being honest. This is just a gun built on a Spike's lower receiver.

We will still be glad to answer questions you have on AR-15's though, so don't be shy.

I found a Red X arms website.... Now my question is: did I get beat down for $900. It's all pretty new... I guess.

What kind of scope is on the rifle? Did it come with it?

Yes it came with it. It's a Bushnell but I don't see a model number on it. The only one I seen on Bushnells site that looks just like it was $289.

Yeah, I was looking at their website, and they have some pretty nice products; however their warranty is very restrictive. Not to mention shooting anything but new in box factory ammo, voids the warrant.

Well, your around $550-$600 between that lower and the optic based on brand new prices. I know nothing about that upper company.
