Official launch coming soonThe latest addition to the Kaos Stock System line-up is the 40mm variant. Built for use with the military's M203 rail mounted grenade launcher from LMT. This model is reinforced and design to handle the additional shock and stress of firing 40mm destructive munitions in contrast to the lighter propellant force of 37mm smoke and flare rounds that the previous Kaos models were designed for. Call for pre-order details.

Awe man, that would be fun! Now we just need some rounds! Anyone got the hook up?!...cricket...cricket...cricket... hmm...yeah...bout that The 37mm with some colored smoke would be cool at a field exercise party! I wonder what kind of papers you need for the 37mm smoke rounds?

You don't need a stamp to fire 37mm smoke and flare. Just don't shoot red smoke or flare over waterways, unless you like a fine or night in jail for falsely alerting law enforcement.
Now 40mm, that is a headache. You need a stamp for the launcher, and technically a stamp for each 40mm explosive round you purchase. But 40mm smoke and flare don't require stamps.
Ammunitiontogo.com occasionally stocks 37mm smoke and flare rounds.

Nice! That would be awesome icing to the collection. I think my collection would be complete after that purchase...but I don't think I would ever call my collection finished. Too many calibers and great firearms for all.

I answered your question regarding stamps and launchers in the NFA section.
The 37mm Havoc launcher does not need a stamp to purchase.
The 40mm M203 launcher (in the picture above) does require a stamp for purchase.

does that go for the small havoc? what about using the 12ga adapter...that does not create or make that a SBS.

The 12ga and 26.5mm adapters are not designed to handle explosive ammunition. They are designed to allow the use of smoke & flare rounds in those calibers. If you tried to shoot buckshot out of the Havoc with a 12ga adapter, you would violate the intended use and possible run a high risk of personal injury. Again, the Havoc is only designed to handle the force and firing of smoke and flare rounds.
The 9" and 12" Havoc's are both legal to own without a stamp as long as it does not violate local or state law.

Is the process that one goes through to own a DD (i.e. an LMT M203) the same as it is for NFA stuff like suppressors and SBRs?

Yes, the purchase process for a DD is the same as a suppressor or factory SBR.

I will call to place order. Can I fax a copy of FFL for dealer pricing? Our store has sold one LMT Rail Mount M203 recently and we have a few other customers interested in stand alone mounts. Thanks!
