Finishing up my lower. Only choice left is selecting a buffer. After about an hour of reading, it appears everyone has an opinion, but no facts. This is my first build. It will be a 16 in barrel with a mid-length gas system. Primarily firing 5.56. Would like .223 to work also. Which spikes buffer would be suitable for my application?

T2. It is designed as the all purpose buffer and the go to option for carbines.

T1 is good for long barrel, reduced weight, or low gas applications
T3 is good for short barrel, heavy gas use
