Does the ST-T2 buffer work well with a 300 blackout?

T2 is good to go with most blackout barrels. It depends on how the maker sizes their gas ports.

Yep, you'll be good with a T2.

It will likely feel the same as a standard buffer, unless you have low gas return or an adjustable gas system. If you have or prefer low gas in your rifle, then the T1 would be a better choice (less gas + less mass = happy shooter).

when you say mass you mean the grain of bullet correct. I plan to run my ACC 9" with 115gr, 125gr and 220gr both unsuppressed and suppressed

Mass refers to the total size & weight of the action and buffer components that move inside a semi automatic weapon. This is your bolt carrier, bolt, buffer, buffer spring.
