finally got a chance to take my AA piston to the range today. Installed the st-t3 buffer and it works great! No malfunctions what so ever!

Hi,
I have an Adams arms upper and have been waiting for your popular ST-T2 to become available. I currently have no cycling issues but am looking to upgrade the standard carbine buffer to help the gun run smoother, less recoil and etc... From what I have read with the 16 in barrel mid-length piston system everyone says the T2 is the way to go. Is this correct or do you think I could go for the ST-T1 and have it work just as well?

The T1 would work feel similar to your stock buffer, but will remove some of the noise from the recoil assembly (due to the powder being fluid in comparison to the large clack of solid inserts. The T2 will do this and slightly soften the motion of the action due to its' higher weight. Which route you ultimately want to go is up to you. I prefer the T2 in everything I build unless I'm going for supreme weight reduction, then it's the T1.

I saw people mentioning that on ARFCOM and that is just insane. People must be buying them for the tungsten inside because the price on that stuff is out of control right now and is what is preventing us from being able to expand production beyond 10,000+ units per month currently being made. If we picked up new tungsten contracts at the prices they are wanting right now we wouldn't be able to keep doing them at the price they are.
