Thats interesting, I was told it could be up to 4-6 weeks, but that I was beating the IRS rush. The way things look, I may not get my lower for weeks! But I dont mind, I get to buy more toys!

Wow. I hate hearing that people who ordred after me are getting thier rifles and such before me as well. I may be a little over anxious, but ya, it's coming up on 8 weeks now and no word (my order was put in the que 2/13/2012). Bummed. And so I wait. Sure am glad to hear that some one is getting thier stuff.

Well, since President Obama is such a good gun salesman I found a rifle from a different manufacturer in stock in Wisconsin. So I bought it ( got it yesterday!), now I have something to play with while I wait for my Spike's Tactical rifle to be built. I was told AT LEAST a 3 month wait

Like the rest of you, I don't really like the wait either. I made my order on 29 November for a complete mid with billet receiver set. Just got word last week that it may be another 10ish weeks. I might have to just go out and buy a cheep rifle to hold me over. Oh well, I know in the end it will be worth it.

Hello gentlemen. I'm new to the forum and joined because I ordered a SBR 300 Blackout Compressor 2 weeks ago through my local FFL dealer, Trading Places, in Monroe, GA.
I understand that there will be a pretty long wait for this to be shipped to my dealer before the next phase of the process (2 tax stamps to be acquired on my trust), but is there anyone here that would be so kind as to give me an opinion of a ballpark wait time for the SBR 300 Blackout model to be shipped from Spikes?
I seem to recall that Spikes was caught up well on their bllet lowers and uppers after last December...??
This will be my 3rd Spikes purchase as I bought a couple of ST-15's within the last 3 months for my son and I directly from Trading Places here in Monroe. These good people are absolutely amazing to do business with and they deserve the good plug as they're prices are the lowest from all others I've researched.
Any help crime someone with an approximately ETA will be greatly appreciated!

After like my 4th week of waiting, I debated going another direction, but everyone but the big armories all said the same thing. It looks like an industry problem, not a Spikes Tactical problem... Not to mention I ordered a 420rd can of Lake City for $139 week one, and theyre up around $189 now! A MUCH bigger problem Friggin Obama!

It seems like the election hestaria has already started as I'm seeing prices for ammo and AR's in particular creeping up in price. Option # 1: wait it out and hope USA doesn't reelect Prez Oban'em, or Option#2: do the gettin' while the gettin's good before the worst case scenario (gun ban bills) emerge.
Personally, I don't think our congress would support any gun bans, or tactical weapons restrictions in this decade. I believe the fear promulgating this uptick is not truly warranted, but this doesn't change the reality we're seeing on current and near future prices.

Gun bans are the stupidest thing this country can do. less income from sales and an easier country to wage a war in sounds bad to me. the people who use guns improperly are still going to get them and use them improperly. so taking guns from the sheep dogs would be a bad idea, IMO. but this is off topic so.... I WANT MY RIFLE! lol
