Ditto, it has been mentioned multiple times but no one has ever given details.

A message was sent to ARFCOM to ask what happened, no response yet. Subscription probably expired again, it has happened before.

Probably, seems it occurs every year around the same time..

But, in my opinion, that was a low shot at PSA regardless..

I found the thread, it was regarding PSA having proof rounds for their 6.8 barrels. There are some upset people on that site.

They have sub forums for many AR manufacturers and part makers. Spikes is the only manufacturer that I know that doesn't have one.

I found the thread....*yawn*....as my friends across the pond would say : "tempest in a teacup".

Tom asked a couple legit questions, don't know why he would not be allowed to ask them, anybody else could without issue. This is why I don't post on arfcom that much anyway, bunch drama queens and armchair operators for the most part, if you have a different opinion than the herd or question the Emperor's new clothes, they gang-snark you. The problem really wasn't as much the two protagonists, as it was the peanut gallery yammering away.

I've had old bastards nut up and get smug when i've asked about reloads they were using, gawd forbid they give away their friggin secret recipe....chamber pressure is a legit question, it wouldn't have hurt PSA to post the number, or the source for the proof rounds, if you ask me, they came off like a fat kid with a football.

He was allowed to ask them, there was no foul called on him by ARFCOM. But Tom always comes across somewhat brash to the folks on ARFCOM. Sometimes I have to step in and smack him around when he doesn't realize that people are getting their feelings hurt by the way he talks.

As for the ST section disappearing. It was 1 year and 2 weeks since the last occurrence, and it was due to subscription expiration. Happened to KAC last week or the week before. Seems that those notices from ARFCOM never get to anyone's inbox.
