A while back Tom posted some pictures of the new MRS 1-piece mounts "in the white". I was just wondering if they were available yet. If so, how much? Are there any pictures of the final version?

Still waiting to get them back. They are being made. Couldn't find a sample around the office that was finished and plated to show off.

When someone has a chance... What is the ID of the 1-piece mount, and how much length does it add to the barrel overall? What's the price going to be?
I've got an MRS-2 in process, and I'm trying to finish-up a new 6.5 Grendel build. I'd really like to set it up to use the MRS-2, but the barrel profile is too thin for the normal collar. If the 1-piece mount will work I will probably go ahead and use it instead. If not, I'll just buy a DynaComp and forget about using the can on this build.

The mount adds the same length as the HVS Dynacomp, which is shorter than an A2. The inside diameter is approx .76 to fit over government profile barrels.

Well, pending price and availability, I'm in for one (.308 threaded 5/8-24) with a thread protector. Any ballpark on how much longer before they're available?

Haven't heard an update from Tom on these yet. Once I hear anything I'll pass it along.

Anything? The rifle I need the mount for is almost done. It just needs a charging handle and a 1-piece MRS mount!

We're just waiting to get them back from the platers if I remember. They should be coming in soon, if they're not already in. Give a call to our sales reps and see if they have an update that I might not be aware of.

I'm bumping this back from the dead because I now find myself with a second barrel that won't work with the 2-piece MRS mount. Are these available yet? If so, how much and where can I get them?

Not sure of the price, but if you call in they can put in an order for the 1-piece mount. If there aren't any on hand, they will be in soon.
