Hi folks, Hope I have this in the correct section... first time posting. I am an avid sword collector and have been shooting since I was a child, however I am ready to buy my first AR. After tons of research I have decided that NOTHING will do but a Spikes... sp[ecifically this one http://www.spikestactical.com/new/z/st1 ... p-387.htmlYes , I know , its not a Mr. Potato Head gun... just very basic... but it suits what I want. Problem is ... I can't find one ANYWHERE!! Anyone have a clue where one might be in stock ? Or when ? I'm ready to buy .... but I can't

Not sure where you can find a dealer online with any ST15 in stock. Best bet may be to find a local dealer with one on their shelf.

I was just at a gun show in Winter Haven, FL all weekend. There was a dealer there from Orlando that had about a dozen Spikes rifles from mild to wild. Depending on where you are located, check for local gun shows. You can almost find one everytime. There is a local dealer I know here in Ft. Myers, FL that has a couple on his shelf. The store name is Tactical Weapons, ask for Jesse. Im sure he could send you one out to your local FFL. Hope this helps.

Why not just buy directly from spikes? Have it shipped to an FFL of your choice in your area?

I would be happy to buy directly from Spike's , but it is my understanding that everything is back ordered there as well with no eta in sight.

The best place to look right now is at gun shows and online classifieds. I hunted all over for one like I really wanted. Last month I finally found it at a Tampa gun show and then found another on a gun classified online sight. Im picking that one up tomorrow.

Go to gunstores that have a big selection. I went from gunstore to gunstore looking for a Smith & Wesson M&P Sport...the guy handed me the exact rifle you're looking for, the ST-15..I bought it right then and there.
I've put about 2000 rounds through it so far, zeroed at 50 yards and it's dead accurate (I only use iron sights for now)

If anyone cares to know, you can sign up on the Aim Surplus website to be notified when they have ST parts in stock. You have to be real fast as they sell out fast. I can tell you that if you have an Android phone you can place An order with you're mobile browser.
My striped lower will be here next week.
Now if I can just get my upper.

Spikes should post an updated dealer list for the people looking for parts and whatnot. It would probably help the small dealers. I was able to get to get an enhanced lpk striped spider lower and buffer tube w/ t-2 in about three weeks. Most of that time was spent on google trying to find dealers that sold ST stuff.

The FFL index under Dealers at the top of the site is a list of all dealers we have shipped to that have a current FFL copy on file with us. This is a combination of active purchasing dealers and those dealers that customers have had orders delivered to.

I will tell ya...but not on here. I don't want anyone getting into my honey hole. I am about to buy another one from them. I ordered mine, they built it and I had it in less than 24 hours from the phone call.
